Bus
If you're coming to Tioman from from Kuala Lumpur , you can take the bus from Pudu Raya Station to Mersing, a 6 hour journey. Bus operators that go to Mersing are Transnational and Sutera, would only cost you RM 22 – RM 24. Travelers from Singapore or Johor would have to get their bus tickets from Larkin Station, Johor Bahru to Mersing, and a 2 1/2 hour journey. Bus operators that go to Mersing are Cepat Express, SS Express, and Johora, would only cost you RM 10 - RM 20.
From Kuala Lumpur: Puduraya > Mersing . (Transnasional, Sutera, Cepat Ekspress)
From Singapore & Johor Bahru > Mersing. (Transnasional, Cepat Ekspress, SS Express)
From Kuantan > Mersing or Tanjung Gemok. (Transnasional, Ekspress Adik-beradik, Utama Ekspres)
Drive
If you intend to drive from Kuala Lumpur take the Senawang exit to Kuala Pilah then drive pass Rompin, straight on to Endau, you can either take the ferry from Endau or drive further to Mersing and get the Ferry from there.
Once you're in Mersing you go straight to the Mersing Jetty and get your Ferry or Speedboat Tickets there. There are several boat operators .
